If you already use Claude or ChatGPT, you can connect your Presupeso to it and run your budget by chatting. You write “spent 52,000 at the grocery store, paid with my debit card” and it's recorded; you ask “how am I doing this month?” and it answers with your real numbers. You connect it once, and then it works the same on your computer and in the Claude or ChatGPT app on your phone.

The connection (called MCP: a common language that lets an AI use another app) signs in with your YSNOne account, the same one you use to open Presupeso. You never give your AI a password or a key.

What you need

  • For Claude, a Claude account. It even works with the free plan, which allows one custom connector.
  • For ChatGPT, a paid ChatGPT plan and a computer. You do it once on a computer; after that you can also use it on your phone.

Connect it with the step-by-step assistant

The easiest way is from the app: open Settings › Your AI and press Connect my AI. An assistant walks you through it:

  1. Tap the Claude card or the ChatGPT card, depending on the AI you use.
  2. Follow the steps one by one. Each step has its own button: the one that opens the exact screen of your AI in another tab, or the one that copies the address right where you paste it. When you've done what the step says, come back to the Presupeso tab and press Next.
  3. If you'd rather read everything at once, press See all the steps.

While the assistant is open, Presupeso waits for your AI. As soon as it comes in for the first time, the screen changes on its own to “Done! … is now connected to your Presupeso” and gives you three questions to start with: tap one and it's copied so you can paste it into your AI.

If you don't have an account yet, the same assistant is on the Connect your AI page; the only thing it can't do there is tell you when it's connected.

In Claude

  1. In the assistant, press Connect with Claude. Claude opens in another tab with the “Add custom connector” form already filled in: the name, Presupeso, and your budget's address. Nothing to copy or paste. If Claude asks you to sign in, use your Claude account.
  2. Claude warns you that the details come from a link. That's normal: check that the name is Presupeso and confirm with “Add”; if you see “Continue” first, press it. If it asks which OAuth client to use, choose “Register automatically”.
  3. Press “Connect” next to Presupeso. The YSNOne page opens: sign in with your account and press “Autorizar” (Authorize; the YSNOne page is in Spanish).
  4. Start a new chat in Claude, tap the “+” button, go to “Connectors” and turn on Presupeso. Ask it “how am I doing this month?”.

What you connect on your computer shows up on its own in the Claude app on your phone. You can also try it from your phone, but Claude still has this in beta: if something doesn't work, do it from a computer.

The Claude skill (optional). On Connect your AI there's a button to download a skill that teaches Claude how to work with your budget. Upload it in Claude, under “Settings › Capabilities › Skills”.

In ChatGPT

ChatGPT calls these connections plugins, and its buttons are in English. This is done from a computer.

  1. In the assistant, press Open ChatGPT plugins. “Plugins” opens in another tab. There, press the “+” button and choose “Add custom MCP server”.
  2. Name it Presupeso. In the assistant, press Copy the address and paste it into “Server URL”.
  3. Under “Authentication” choose “OAuth”. If it asks how to register the client, leave dynamic registration (“DCR”).
  4. ChatGPT warns you that OpenAI didn't make the plugin, as with any plugin you add yourself. Press “I understand and want to continue” and then “Create as a plugin”.
  5. Presupeso shows up in your personal list of plugins. Open it and press “+” to install it.
  6. The YSNOne page opens: sign in with your account and press “Autorizar” (Authorize).
  7. In a new chat, type “@Presupeso”, pick it from the list and ask “how am I doing this month?”.

From then on you also have it in the ChatGPT app on your phone. If you don't see “Add custom MCP server”, your plan or your company doesn't allow it; meanwhile you can connect Claude, which works with its free plan.

On your phone

The assistant knows you're on a phone. For ChatGPT it tells you from the start that it's done once from a computer; for Claude it lets you try, although a computer is safest. In both cases press Send me this link: your phone's share menu opens so you can send it to yourself and open it on your computer. If your phone has no share menu, the link is copied and the screen tells you.

How you know it's connected

Inside the app, the assistant tells you on its own: when your AI comes in for the first time, the screen changes to “Done!”. Just keep the Presupeso tab open while you follow the steps in the other one.

The Done! message, with three questions to start that are copied with one tap

If a few minutes go by and your AI hasn't come in yet, “Where did you get stuck?” appears with the most common snags and what to do about each one. You can also open it any time with “Something didn't work? We'll help”, below the steps. Connecting your AI needs an internet connection; without one, the assistant tells you so.

Turn it on, off or read only

Open Settings › Your AI and scroll to “Your outside AI (Claude, ChatGPT)”. There you have the address and two switches: “Let my outside AI in” (off, it cuts every connected AI at once) and “Allow it to record and change things” (off, your AI is read only: it answers but doesn't record or change anything). Below you'll see the last AI that came in.

Which budget it works in

Your AI only sees your budgets, never anyone else's. If you have just one, there's nothing to think about: it works in that one and never asks.

If you keep several budgets, each AI works in its own, separate from the one you have open in the app. Claude can be in “My budget” while ChatGPT is in your business at the same time, and neither one moves the other or changes what you see in the app.

  • The first time, it asks which one. When a new AI is about to record something and you have more than one budget, it doesn't record anything yet: it says “You have 2 budgets: My budget and YSNOne. Which one should I use?”. Answer it, and from then on it stays there until you name another one. Until you choose, it still answers your questions and tells you which budget the numbers come from.
  • It always tells you where it is. When it confirms what it recorded, it names the budget: “Recorded in «YSNOne»: 80,000 for Starlink”. If you're ever unsure, ask “which budget are you in?”.
  • To switch, just ask: “work in the shop's budget”. Only that AI changes: the app and your other AIs stay where they were.
  • For a single thing in another budget, you don't need to switch: “record 80,000 for Starlink in YSNOne”. It records it there and keeps working where it was.

You also see and change it in the app: in Settings › Your AI, at the end of “Your outside AI”, the box “Which budget each AI works in” shows each connected AI with its budget. Use the selector next to it to pick another one, or choose “Not chosen yet” so it asks you which one before recording. Your Telegram bot appears there too, with its own budget.

Which budget each AI works in: Claude in My budget, ChatGPT in the business and Telegram not chosen yet, each with its selector

If the budget an AI was working in gets archived or is no longer yours, that AI asks you again before recording. The assistant inside the app is different: it works in the budget you have open on screen.

What it doesn't do

It doesn't move real money, it doesn't log into your bank and it doesn't give investment or credit advice. What you tell it travels to your AI's company (Anthropic or OpenAI) like any conversation with it. To remove the connection, remove Presupeso from Claude's connectors or ChatGPT's plugins whenever you want.

Frequently asked questions

Does Presupeso charge me to connect Claude or ChatGPT?

No. Connecting them costs nothing in Presupeso. Claude can be connected on its free plan; ChatGPT needs a paid plan, which you pay to them.

It asked me to sign in with YSNOne and nothing happened. What do I do?

The YSNOne page may have opened in another tab, or your browser blocked it. Check your tabs, and if the browser warns about a blocked window, allow it. Sign in with the same account you use for Presupeso and press “Autorizar”. If it closed before finishing, press “Connect” again in your AI.

My AI says “Unauthorized” or asks me to sign in again. What do I do?

Remove the connection in your AI's settings and connect it again with the steps above. When you sign in again with your YSNOne account and press “Autorizar”, it's back as before, with your whole budget intact. If it still happens, check that “Let my outside AI in” is on.

It says it can't record anything. Why?

Either you set it to read only, your subscription is suspended (then everything is read only until you top up), or you're in a budget where you can only look. Your AI will tell you which one.

I asked it to record an expense and it asked me which budget. Why?

Because you have more than one budget and that AI didn't know yet which one to work in. That way it never records in the wrong one. Answer with the budget's name and it won't ask again: it stays there until you name another one. If you prefer, choose it yourself in Settings › Your AI, under “Which budget each AI works in”.
