Presupeso helps you decide what each peso you already have is for, before you spend it. You don't need to know anything about finance: if you know how much you have in your accounts today, you can start. These are the five steps, in order.

1. Sign in with your YSNOne account

Tap Start for free on the home page. Presupeso uses your YSNOne account, the same one as GastroSquad or OneSales: if you already have one, sign in with it; if not, you create it in a minute. There's no other password to remember.

The first time you sign in you already have a budget with some example categories —rent, groceries, transportation, dining out, emergency fund— and an account called Cash. Change them, delete them or add your own whenever you like.

2. Write down where your money is

Create an account for each place where you have money: the bank, a digital wallet, the cash in your wallet, your credit card. Give each one the balance it has today, looking at your bank app.

  • If it's a credit card, enter what you owe: Presupeso stores it as a negative number.
  • If it's an account in dollars or another currency, pick that currency when you create it.

All the positive money in your accounts goes to Ready to assign: money you already have that doesn't have a job yet.

3. Give every peso a job

Open Budget. At the top you see Ready to assign. Go category by category and type in Assigned how much you want to set aside for each thing this month. Start with what can't fail (rent, utilities, groceries) and continue with the rest.

When Ready to assign reaches $ 0, all your money has a plan. That doesn't mean you spent it: it means you decided what it's for.

Only assign money you already have. Don't count on the paycheck that arrives on Friday. When it arrives, you record it and assign it.

4. Record what you spend

Every time you pay for something, record it: tap +, type the amount, pick the account it came from and the category. With the app on your phone it takes ten seconds. You can also dictate it, or tell your AI: «spent 52,000 at the grocery store with my debit card».

What you spend is deducted from the Available amount of its category. That way you always know how much you have left for each thing. More in Record transactions.

5. Adjust as you go

If a category goes red, no problem: move money from another one that has some to spare. Whatever is left in a category at the end of the month stays for next month. It's that simple: we explain it in The method: four rules.
