Cards and debts

Get out of debt with a plan and a date

Your credit card stops being an end-of-month surprise, you know the real cost of buying in instalments before you do it, and you get a plan with the exact date you will be debt-free.

Watch it in one minute

What you buy with the card is set aside

Every card purchase sets the money aside in «Card payment». When the statement arrives, you already have enough to pay it in full, with no interest.

Instalment purchases, with clear numbers

Record the purchase with its instalments and its rate, and Presupeso tracks how much is left, and how much of each payment is principal and how much is interest.

How many instalments? See what it costs

Before buying, the simulator tells you how much you would really end up paying in 1, 12 or 24 instalments. The difference is often bigger than you think.

All your debts in sight

The motorbike loan, the bank loan, the card: how much you owe on each, the rate, the payment and how much interest you pay this month.

Pay the instalment from its envelope

Each debt has its category. You assign money to it like any envelope and, with «Pay this debt», the payment comes out of there and the debt goes down.

It warns you if you are making it grow

Recorded the payment as an expense? That would make the debt grow. Presupeso notices, tells you, and you turn it into a payment with one tap.

Your way out: snowball or avalanche

Say how much extra you can put in each month and compare two paths: smallest first (you feel the progress) or most expensive first (you pay less interest). You get the date you will be free and how much you save.

Questions about this

Which is better, snowball or avalanche?

Avalanche pays less interest because it attacks the most expensive debt first; snowball keeps you motivated because you close small debts early. Presupeso shows you both with their dates so you can choose.

How do I pay the card without counting it twice?

What you buy with the card already came out of its category. Paying the card is a transfer from your bank that comes out of «Card payment», so nothing is counted twice.

Does it give investment advice?

No. Presupeso does the maths (what it costs, when you finish, how much you save) and the decision is yours.
